Uneven skin tone, lack of vitality, easily dull. You feel tired when looking in the mirror, not satisfied with your appearance.
Dull, tired and lifeless skin
There were days when I looked in the mirror and couldn’t recognize my own skin. My skin was dull, dry, old acne scars left dark spots, and every little wrinkle seemed to appear more after every late night. No matter how many cosmetics I tried, from high-end to low-end, my skin still couldn’t “revive” as I wanted. I started wearing more makeup, not to beautify, but to hide. To hide the damage on my skin – and the scratches on my self-esteem. Sometimes I asked myself: “Why did my skin become like this?”, but then kept quiet because I knew I was too used to ignoring myself. People often say, skin is a mirror of health and emotions. Maybe I haven’t really listened to my skin for too long.
Do you feel insecure about your skin? I used to be too.
Are you sad about having dark skin?
Are you lacking confidence because of dark, dull skin?
Has anyone ever felt like this?
